Privacy Policy

Parloo AI ("Parloo", "we", "us") is a unified, multi-channel inbox that brings your conversations from tools like Slack, email, and messaging apps into one workspace. This policy explains what data we access, why we access it, how we store it, and the choices you have. By connecting an account or channel to Parloo, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up for Parloo.
• Connected-channel content — for each channel you connect (such as Slack), the messages, conversations, participant names, timestamps, and channel metadata that the connecting user can already access. We mirror this content into your Parloo inbox so you can read and reply from one place.
• Authentication tokens — the access tokens issued when you connect a service. These are stored encrypted and used only to sync your conversations and send replies on your behalf.
• Usage data — basic logs and diagnostics needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

When you connect Slack, Parloo uses a user token and accesses only the channels and direct messages that you can already see in Slack. We use this access to:

• mirror your Slack channels and direct messages into your Parloo inbox;
• keep those conversations up to date as new messages arrive;
• post replies back to Slack as you, when you reply from Parloo.

Parloo does not access private messages belonging to other members of your workspace, and does not use your Slack data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Parloo (for example, hosting and database infrastructure), under agreements that require them to protect it, or when required by law. Your conversation content is never shared with other Parloo customers.

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to the systems and personnel that need it to run the service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a channel at any time, which stops further syncing and revokes Parloo's access. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at support@parloo.ai and we will remove it in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@parloo.ai.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
